Open-and-close lid on new air freshener is patented
GA MANUFACTURER OFFERS UNIQUE AUTO GELS
Warner Robins, GA -- If the overpowering fragrance of your car's air freshener makes you gasp and choke in the heat of the day, take heart. A Georgia-based manufacturer of household, commercial and industrial cleaning products has introduced a patented, automatic open-and-close feature on the lid of its new auto air freshener that prevents olfactory overload.
The lid of Clean Control Corporation's Mega Gel Air Freshener for closets, RVs, cars, boats and other small spaces, features a metal strip that bends to automatically close the unit in extreme heat, eliminating an unpleasant blast of fragrance and rapid fragrance loss. The 2-inch unit is designed to stand upright and reopens automatically as the temperature inside the enclosed area cools. See www.odoban.net Because the automatic lid preserves the fragrance in hot temperatures, the new air freshener requires less gel but lasts as long as other versions on the market.
An additional patented feature on the product is new polymer technology that packs fragrance into an ultra-thin layer of gel.
According to Clean Control founder, Stephen Davison, the new air freshener's thin polymer layer is heavily concentrated, offering the same amount of fragrance as competitive water-based gel units of the same size.
Available fragrances marketed under the SmartLid line include Cucumber Melon, Butter Cookies, Mulberry-Almond, and Delicious Apple. The new air freshener is marketed under Clean Control Corporation's OdoBan brand.
